Valentine's Uncommercially

2.14 is coming real close.
Roses, chocolates and romantic candlelight dinner were made to commercial on this one single day of the year. Sigh. Love, romance goes with money.

Flowers, who doesn't like flowers(but wth roses must be extremely expansive on this day, the bloom is super nicer is it, or the color is ever lasting bodo), okla, i like flowers, very much delight to receive it, but again I think it doestn't worth it because flower will only last few days.

Chocolates, i have a love hate relationship with it. Some years ago, it made me get the flu package of sore throat, flu and fever for 2 weeks because of that bar of chocolate. But but, again, the sweet creamy texture that melts in your mouth, that made you close your eyes to savour the moment never fail to tempt me. And what is more perfect than extra creamy good quality dark chocolate. Yummsssss.

Candlelight dinner, with live violin performance, garhhhhhh, need I say anymore? So commercialize but I so love it. Ok, stop being so mushy, back to reality, back to the topic. Now, let me share some thought on how to spend the Valentine's day Uncommercially :)

Singles:-
1. Lots of singles don't give a damn on this day I know, especially those dumb guy who begirlfriended his console/computer. Yeah, this is the type of potong steam unromantic guy who will not even bother what is the date today. Allright, that is good, still fit to my topic of the entry.

2. No one around you is still holding single status? Fret not. The day is for self pampering. Treat the best only for yourself. Plan it: get your favourite dvd, buy the best chocolate, buy the best ice cream to store in your fridge, order your favourite fast food and also drink. Clean your room/house, arrange some candles, take time to have a body scrub, take a shower/bath with your favourite most expansive shower gel, spend more than one hour in the bathroom to pamper from top to toe, put on your SK II masks, tune on your favourite music and light on the candle of course! Watch a marathon DVD, eat your favourite foods during the movie. And drink from the glass you love the most. Wheeeeee....one day past, a day for yourself. Don't this sound good?

3. You got single friends? Call them up for a steamboat, at home or restaurant. It is all good.Done that followed by a movie, it was great i tell ya!

4. Don't go to Genting Highlands. Hehe. Just because I was invited. Because genting will be very crowded la. You all don't con me lo :p

Non-single
1. Set up something like this. Less than RM5.

2. Cook a meal together. Ready to cook steaks are easily available in hypermarket. Make some mashed potatoes. Buy some drink, sparking juice to replace expansive champange. A beautiful glass too. Candles also. Switch on the most romantic song, and start cooking ! Oh yay, you get the candlelight dinner. Less than RM50.

3. Gift is a must?? Allright, you can include a game here. Each person set a price, lets say RM2.30. Go to a shopping mall, and spare 1 hour to shop seperately. Get a gift that had the price of RM XX2.30. Who doesn't get it, buy the dinner!

3 tips per category, more than enough to spend the 24 hours of 2.14.(but I still want roses and chocolates laa, slap me!)To the summer that went to Langkawi, you better remember to bring back my chocolates.

Happy Valentine's Day :)
